What if?

What if?

What if?  This question is probably the best catalyst for thought and improvement in strategy and efficiency that you have at your disposal.

What if you stopped doing what you’ve always done?

What if you did the opposite of what you’re already doing?

What if you considered for a moment that you didn’t have all the information you needed to make the best decision about how to proceed?

What if you read a book on the subject?

What if you did a Google search and learnt something new about what you’re doing?

What if you had a conversation?

What if you asked someone for their opinion?

What if you went back to the beginning and built or designed it again?

What if you had to do it?

What if resources like money, time, talent and energy were irrelevant?

What if you increased your established acceptable level of risk?

What if your competitors worked on this project?

What if you asked someone who seemingly had no idea about the project?

What if you ran a pilot?

What if you engaged an expert?

What if you had to do it on your own?

What if you found a partner?

What if you built a team?

What if you asked more questions?

What if you delayed the decision?

What if you did something you didn’t want to do?

What if you asked what if?

Perhaps you’d find a better way. Or you get the experience. Either way you win.
